Hello! I’m Thomas and I play the trombone. I’m currently based in New York City, where I play tenor and bass trombone (and sometimes tuba!) in all sorts of situations from big bands to orchestras. I am the leader of the Thomas Laubhan Quartet, check out our debut album Introspection. Visit my Music page for playing examples of me and my quartet.
I also have a private lesson studio where I help students find their voice to be able to express themselves through their instruments. I specialize in low brass pedagogy and jazz improvisation.
